  • Is a signature made in Docshark legally valid?

    An electronic signature is recognized under ESIGN and UETA in the United States, eIDAS in Europe, and PIPEDA in Canada when the signer meant to sign, agreed to sign electronically, and the record is kept with its audit trail. General information, not legal advice.

  • Who owns the documents I upload?

    You do. Your documents stay yours, and the terms say so in writing.

  • Do you sell my information?

    No. We do not sell personal information. The privacy notice lists every purpose we use it for, from sending authentication codes to preventing fraud.

  • Can I ask for my information to be deleted?

    Yes. Write to privacy@doc-shark.com. If an organization sent you the document, ask that organization first, because it decides why your information was collected.
